Seeing Alex come off the DL and get back into hitting and scoring is great and it is proof that he has FINALLY found his home in New York. I know we saw it happen last year, then were confused as to why he would want to leave, only to find out he wanted to stay.

It is good to see him so relaxed and feeling at home. I liked how he was standing around Mike Mussina's locker while Mike was writing on the dry erase board. Something about "balls that hit the yellow steps are usually home runs except tonight." Then Alex had a good laugh about it with the media.

Having Arod in the lineup just makes everything look so much better. The umpires messed up big time.

Alex was funny and relaxed in the post game show. It is so good to have him back and watch him make history with every homerun he hits.

I don't equate Alex with #7, I equate him with #13. Two of the best who ever played the game, both wearing pinstripes.
What's not to love ?

Everything is larger than life when you're a kid. I'm sure there are a lot of younger fans out there form whom Alex is their "Mick." :)

Probably will not break top 10 this year...

I would love it if he did though...if he did then he probably will have single-handedly manufactured every Yankee win from now to the end of the season.

Would be lovely to see him hit his way into the top 10 with HRs in the postseason on the way to a world series win!

That would make Thomo check his statement.

How does A-Rod not seem larger than life? He put up a legendary season last year, and hasn't seem to have lost much of a step this year.
