"Does anybody get else get the feeling that the GM of the Hanshin Tigers must look at the AAA boxscores every five days and laugh hysterically?"

Quotes (about Igawa) from the last game against Pawtucket which tore apart both Giese and McCutchen:

“He looked good,” said PawSox manager Ron Johnson. “He was really good. He threw strikes with all his pitches and got ahead. We really didn’t do a lot.”

“He was outstanding,” manager Dave Miley said. “That’s a good-hitting ball club that he just threw against.”
“I would have to say this was the sharpest he’s been,” Miley said. “The one home run he allowed (a solo shot by Chris Carter in the sixth), he left the ball over the plate but that’s going to happen.
“For the most part, he kept the ball down in the zone and that’s been kind of a problem for him. When he pitches up in the zone he gets hurt. Tonight, he was down with a lot of pitches and he used all of his pitches. He was solid.”

Is it really that difficult to send Igawa back if he wants to leave? Just forfeit the rest of the money in your contract, leave without saying a word, and we'll never mention this again.

The $26M had been paid already with no return, NYY still has to pay him $4M annually, we can't just leave him in AAA without doing something. Can Igawa possibly be traded back to Japan? Maybe some Japanese baseball clubs would welcome his returning, certainly he must give up the rest of the deal with Yankees before hand if he really wish to get back to Japan.

Haha, I've been to Stilettos, but never to Lace. Good ol' Patterson Plank Rd. if my recollection is accurate.

Are Lace and Stilleto going to replace Mystique and Aura at the new stadium? (I think one of them may have briefly dated Carl Pavano.)

About those ads....

Who links to a PDF after you click on an ad?

Take it from someone in marketing, I assume that was a non negotiable LoHud demand to do the advertising.

PDF's are known to slow down browsers when your not expecting them. Especially if the PDF is 1.5 megs.

Back out of his contract that would be the honorable thing to do in the customary Japanese way.
