Rebecca,

Joba hasn't had much of a chance to throw his curve and changeup in the innings he's pitched during the transition...

But it does look like he might be starting next week at the stadium, although I don't think there's any official word on it yet...

I for one, am sorry to see him leave the pen for the starting rotation...

I take the contrarian view on this not because I don't think he'll make a terrific starter, but because of the void he'll leave in the pen...

What do you think?

Regarding the previous post about the use of the bullpen, my thoughts aren't necessarily focused on using Joba vs Mariano in last night's game, but moreso towards NOT using Mariano in Tuesday night's game for a 2nd inning, knowing that Joba was available for extended use the next night, and the team had the day off the following day (today). That move confused me, even prior to Hawkin's meltdown. I had just assumed Mo was going to pitch that 2nd inning. Boy, was I surprised.

I want the Yankees to get the best player in the draft possible, but I have to admit, being from Nashville, I am partial to Vanderbilt. It'd be sweet if they took Jacobsen.

Vanderbilt is really an emerging powerhouse in college baseball. I never would have believed it.

Gayle--Thanks!

Dynasty: Ciao, grazie!

I've got tons of pictures--over 600 (not all good enough quality)--so it will take me a little while to pick out the best ones and upload them all, but I'll share it with you all when I do.

Anyway. Back to Yankees.

Who wants to fill me out as to how this Project: Jobastarterthing Express is turning out?

It's like Ramen Noodles.

Take Joba, add baseball, heat in baseball stadium on high for x pitches...violia!

Whozat rumors w/ Cole he is lazy w/ workouts and a very cocky kid, Scott Boras might have already tampered w/ his head, so IDK if I even touch that kid. Good FB but an SOB in the making according to some people.

The only Boras kid I'd pay attention to is Walker Kelley HS LHP mid 90's mostly 92 mph, has a good makeup but most likely a Rd. 6 - 8 guy.

Rebecca--

Welcome back we missed you.

Yes it was me who pointed out that the Yankees record since you left literally the day you left I think it was last Wednesday or Thursday they were undefeated at least until this week's losses and that perhaps there was a connection adn that we should take up a collection to keep you there. But,alas they did lose so it is okj for you to come home.

Nick graciously volunteered that if it all took was someone going to Italy for the team to win 5 in a row he would volunteer for the job. I posted that suggestion a couple of different days during the streak lol.

I almost put it on my Facebook but LaTroy ticked me off more so my anger over him became my sentance instead.
