I can see Gardner coming up in a few weeks as the fourth outfielder. He has a good chance to become Abreu’s replacement next year. Shelly really hasn’t done much, although he hasn’t had all that much playing time. Melky better watch his back though. If a Gardner can come up, is fast, and plays good D, and can hit for power, Melky becomes expendable.

Sadly, had to take off early because the wife was not feeling well. I blame Igawa

Hope we can do that again some time, the drive from Oneonta to PNC was a piece of cake.
