SJ44,

Garcia is one of the prospects that I'm really excited about. He's probably a year or so away but from what I read he has the best pure stuff in the system outside of Joba. His fastball was 93-95 and hit 97 pre-injury and has the best curve in the org. Also I heard a plus change with great mechanics. He just needs lost of time but from what I read he has frontline starter stuff. What are your thoughts?

is there anyone on this board that ever thought that moose would rise to the occasion like he has thus far? he's one player i did not expect to see anything special from this season. honestly, i figured him to finish around 8-12, so every win since 9 has been a bonus for me, (sorry mike). i don't know how long it will last but i am enjoying every last out he gets.

i always knew he could be an amazing "head" pitcher and i think he's finally fully embraced it. he's been a favorite of mine since he played for the O's and its nice to see him succeed in the twilight of his career.

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!!!!!

You know, depending on where you decide the rotation starts, everyone is a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 starter!

I hate west coast road trips. Can never stay up to the end. Maybe that'll be a good thing. :)

Doreen,
I cant believe he made the H.O.F. with him not being an ace and all. Gotta go. Hope we win tomorrow with our 5th starter Wang on the mound.

Al,

It's hard to judge Cano on his last 200 at bats when his first 1,500 were so good. But I understand and share your frustration with him. The kid is an immense talent that is not hitting nearly to his potential. It's too early to give up on him though.

Going back a long time, no other than Tom Seaver lost the first game of '69 World Series to the Orioles. Just sayin.

"Aces don’t get shelled in two playoff starts. Aces strike out hitters."

So let me get this straight. If they are not perfect in the playoffs and win. They are not aces. O.k. i got it. Lets add these guys to the not ace list.

C.C.
Carmona
Santana
Lackey
Johnson with the Astros
Peavy
Prior
Woods
Clemens

Did i miss anyone?
