Had to go to bed last night, just read Aaron's absurd comments.

Aaron, I may disagree with you, but I won't stoop to your level. Apparently all "true Yankee fans" agree with you on everything. What a joke.

Melky is OK, not terrible. But he's also not the All Star some people make him out to be. And his apparent refusal to listen to instruction and try to get better is frustrating. Doesn't mean Gardner will be Ty Cobb, but it does mean that we should see if some competition for playing time will improve Melky's focus.

See, Aaron, that's what a rational argument looks like. You might want to try it sometime.

Wang could have thrown a complete game. He was only at 80 pitches.

great game last night. i guess the "not a real ace" crowd forgot to pull out their Wang voodoo dolls last night, because the ship looks like it's been righted there.

say what you will about Melky Cabrera, but what sticks in my mind the most about him are the catches he DOES make easy and guys he guns down at home plate. i can live with a bonehead play a week if he's doing the other things.

...and can someone explain to me how some of the same people who are dead set against our young pitching are some of the same advocating for Brett Gardner starting in CF?
