I seriously wonder just how many people are watching the game on GameCast. I don't care who the catcher is, but, when the runner has a 30 foot jump by the time the pitcher releases the ball, nobody is throwing out the runner. Look at the jump that Ausmus had on Chacon's sac bunt. He was closer to second base than Cano and Jeter were, when the ball hit the ground. Chamberlain and every pitcher (not named Pettitte) on the staff is brutal at keeping runners on base. These are things that are hurting, not Posada's throwing.

Alex was my first thought because he had been a QB so he should have an accurate arm but Molina would be a good choice.

Giambi pitching the 9th inning would have us begging Girardi to bring Kyle in.

Technically, isn't Farnsworth a position player? Always leaving us in a bad position with his balky back?

pat,

Really? That LaRussa is always doing wacky things. I guess Melky probably would have the best arm. Alex is the best athlete.

I'll go with Molina.

St. Louis put a position player in to pitch because of the blow out and he had a 1,2,3 inning.

Which Yankee do you think would be the best pitcher of the position players?

Just saw Willie's post game press conference. He was funny.

He joked that alot of reporters showed up for tonights game and said, even the grim reaper showed up referring to one of the writers. It sounded like he was jokingly apologizing for disappointing them with the win.

Well, I got the message- many people still don't like Farnsworth despite his performance tonight.
