Mets-Yankees rescheduled for June 27

The Yankees and Mets will play a two-stadium doubleheader on June 27.

Mets at Yankees, 2 p.m.

Yankees at Mets, 8 p.m.

This is the makeup of the game that was rained out May 16. Why, you ask, isn’t the doubleheader on Saturday or Sunday? The Saturday game is on Fox at 4 p.m.

The only question now is who will be managing the Mets by then?

I LOVE the 2 stadium games. It was great when they did it a few years ago and great to do it again this year. I do have to question the wisdom of doing it Friday. Traffic on the GCP is bad enough heading into the Bronx on a Friday. Add in this and you have MAJOR gridlock. It really should have been done on Sunday.

Are you effing kidding? Awesome, looks like I’m selling my tickets.
