Houston hails The Big Puma

scooby-doo-magnet-c11747661.jpegAstros slugger Lance Berkman is known as “The Big Puma” in Houston.

Some fans at Minute Maid Park have taken to dressing as pumas in support of Berkman, who is hitting .360 with 19 homers and 57 RBI. They kind of look like Scooby Doo. But that’s cool, it’s a fun thing.

Yankee fans should show up on Tuesday with fake mustaches in honor of Jason Giambi. If you can’t have fun with the Big G, you’re not trying.

lmfao The porn ’stache is always funny. Maybe we can get Ron Jeremy to provide a cameo.

On second thought, nix that, lol =D

  2. YankeesLuv

Yankee fans with fake mustaches and golden thongs? That would be disturbing, lol.

  3. Drew

What was the nickname that the Astros called Berkman back in ‘03? I’m thinking it was Pugsley. It was something referring to Berkman’s “portly” build.

I have no problem with the mustache support, but, for all that’s holy, please don’t let any 300 pounders with mustaches and gold lame’ thongs into the park (that goes for both men and women).

The Yankees should get Cano to grow a mustache. It can’t hurt. Either that or just pinch hit him. ;)

Yanks should have a Giambi ’stache night. Proceed could sponsor it and Giuseppe Franco could throw out the first pitch or pull the countdown lever.

Berkman and Carlos Lee may be “portly”, but, for big guys, they can move really well.

Some have been already. I’ll assume you haven’t seen them when you’re at the Stadium because you were looking for females who possess many of the qualities prized by the superficial male.

You think those fans are Lance Berkman fans? Check out this guy:

I’ve got the mustache and also the Pete Abe beard, so yeah!

LMAO at the Berkman youtube video. I sincerely hope the featured guy’s buddies made that for him as a joke! If so, completely hilarious. If not, seriously disturbing!!

    I liked Fat Elvis better.
