For anyone with a brain, the case was closed before he was moved. The case was closed before he was called up from the minors last year.

He never, ever, ever, was meant to be a reliever. He was a reliever for the -sole purpose- of limiting his innings while still helping the big league club.

This was no ‘insightful’ move. This was common sense.

I was in the crowd that thought this was a mistake and readily admit that I have seen the light. I agree the move was not only justified, but will probably prove to be the single most insightful baseball move in 5 years for the yanks.

Having said that, concluding the case is closed and shut based on 5 quality starts, even 5 superlative starts, is somewhat sophomoric. Joba simply has no track record yet to make these kind of assumptions. I understand how easy it is to get caught up in several early successful starts, as I am giddy myself.

But we wont know for a long time whether this move was the right one. At least not until we are celebrating #27. After all that is the only that matters.

As a writer, you should embrace it, as closing the case now unnecessarily limits the number of posts you make on how brilliant it was to move him to the rotation. My way, you can revisit how brilliant your prognostication and brilliant baseball acumen was on a weekly basis.

rebecca there is a magazine called the jewish sports review.. comes out like 6 times a yr. I think they have a website.

it follows all the jewish athletes, don’t make a joke that it is a very fast read!!!!!!!

Jordan farmar is the only NBA jewish player this yr. a bunch of hockey and football (centers and punters) but only the one basketball player at present…

true many owners of sports teams; wilpon, the rays, marlins, white sox, milwaukee use to(selig), the A’s, and many many more teams..

theres alot of jewish baseball players now. ryan braun Milw., kapler Milw., youkilis, grabow pitt., marquis chicago, and a bunch more…craig breslow, kinsler texas, ausmus houston,hirsh colorado(hurt), scheonweis, feldman texas, Horwitz(SF),

Man do we miss Wang if he was there they would be loaded and he can pitch dep in games which is huge…
