The thing that got us at Anthrocon: Yankees Security insisted that everyone in suit (about 15% of congoers or so) leave the lobby when the Yankees came in. Apparently bunnies scare Jeter, or A-Rod was badly traumatized by The Famous Chicken…

That’s okay. We had our con and had a blast anyway.

The Brewers made some snarky comments about the furries last year… and then went on to a 13-game losing streak IIRC.

It just goes to show only losers make fun of furries.

I find it difficult to beleve that Giambi’s ‘stache has anything to do with his hitting. Even stranger is that people believe it.

If his ‘stache has magical powers, it had better start reaching out and snagging the baseballs hit within 20 feet of him. The ‘stache reaches out, traps the ball in the tangle and and then reaches out and touches the bag. Until that happens, color me somewhat doubtful.

Pete two years ago the animie convention was going on when the Yankees were in town. I pulled off the highway and couldn’t believe was I was seeing, It was pretty scary! Ask the Yankees about it, it was a sight to behold!

The next time the fire fighters convention was in town, that was much much better.
