mel, yeah, that rotation does look pretty nice with C.C., but I think they can still win the World Series this year without him.

David Robertson for Setup, that’s absurd. You number the starters by how good they are not how old they are. If Joba keeps doing what he’s doing, he has better stuff than both of them, so he’d be the number 1…

GreenBeret7, I said he would be the Yankees ace, not necessarily an ace. Unless he takes a turn for the worst then I think you probably have to say he’s the Yankees best pitcher at this point. You would have to figure he’s only going to get better at this point. Of course he’ll have bad starts, but ALL pitchers have bad starts. So far he hasn’t had one but you would have to believe he’ll have some.

Joba isnt ahead of Sabathia or Wang even if we get Sabathia. Joba is the #3 for the next few years if we somehow get Sabathia. And I am 1 fan that isnt disappointed that we didnt get Santana. And im sure there are more

No because Hughes is a #1 prospect. Betances walks too many people (and also got hurt) and Heredia(also injured this year) doesnt have stuff like Hughes . Hughes is the best option for this team.

mel, it doesn’t matter now because Joba is the Yankees new ace, so even if they do get Sabathia, you better believe that Joba is ahead of both Wang and Sabathia. But it will be very interesting when the Yankees make the playoffs if Wang is back, who starts game 1.
