Here’s me, Jenn Sterger, Jenn’s friend and Will Carroll at Foley’s last night. I think we had just finished discussing how long Hideki Matsui would be on the disabled list. Or something like that.

FYI Johan Santana has pitched more than 6 innings in 70% of his starts in his career, including 69% this year.

As a frame of reference for what that means, a workhorse like Wang has pitched more than 6 innings in 62% of his career starts.

  2. Art Vandelay

Way to go, Pete!!!! Did you get these girls’ phone numbers?

  3. frankied

    who is jenn sterger?

  4. farnsworthy

of course pete got their numbers!

  5. Brandon (Jose Tabata stays) (Johan Santana HR count: 13 and a SP)

Ok….sport journalism it is. Now I suddenly don’t feel like knocking Manny

  6. Patrick Bateman

No offense Pete, if you don’t want witty comments posted you shouldn’t plaster a picture of a girl with “inflate to 100 psi” written across her forehead.

  7. mel

No offense, Pete. But you and your brother can do better than that. You’re with the Yankees.

  8. mel

OK. Brandon wins the Knock/Manny contest. You did use a double entendre, right?

  9. Patrick Bateman

    You’d be surprised mel.

I’m guessing the “I know Derek Jeter” line doesn’t have as much currency as it used to.

  10. CrazyCook

Giambi’s ’stache is more powerful than Jeter’s aura.

  11. mel

    Patrick,

I haven’t been too impressed with Jeter’s pickups either.

If I saw Giambi’s furry thing, I’d run in the other direction as fast as I could. It’s g-ross.

  12. Mark

    who’s Jenn Sterger?

she’s pretty and all, but her augmentation is too big.

  13. Patrick Bateman

She got her fame as a student at FSU who would show up for football games in tiny FSU t-shirts that would be too small on a Barbie doll with her manmade gifts spilling out.

She earned TV attention because of it, and they always showed her in the crowd.

  14. shapeshifter

The girl in brown used to be a dude

  15. Jason

Seriously, this picture would have been a great beer commercial. Pete, you should’ve picked up a Coors Light or something.

  16. DMan

I think she works for SI now.

  17. William

Haha! I like Pete’s you-know-what-eatin’ grin in the photo… where exactly IS your left hand Mr Abraham?

  18. ryanloghry

    *golf-clap* Way to go Pete. 8 )

  19. Cam

We’re not worthy! We’re not worthy!

  20. NYSuperFan

Jenn Sterger still looks good, even post FSU

  21. OldYanksFan

‘plaster a picture of a girl with “inflate to 100 psi” written across her forehead.’

    You prefer a flat tire?

  22. CM

Jenn Sterger. Wow. Whatever regard I held Baseball Prospectus in has immediately, dropped.

But, hey Jenn! Congratulatinos on your 16th minute!

  23. CM

Congratulations, that is. But congratulatinos… interesting misspell.

  24. Deegan

I’m sure Pete cares what the jealous say. Jen is hot. So is her friend. Good work Pete.

  25. American Idle

    Jenn Sterger is so hot.

  26. jay destro

    that girl has some personality

  27. Brent (This Damon Guy's For Real, Huh?)

Why so much hate for the hot girls? I thought this post would garner tons of “hummina-hummina”-esque comments, but instead I see a ton of complaining. Just enjoy it, fellas.

  28. saucY

    “But congratulatinos… interesting misspell.”

this will come in handy on the internet at some point

looks like good times, Pete. times like this i regret moving out of the city…

  29. Pete

I wish I was there, instead I got robbed at Yankee Stadium. $120 each for box seats and, $45 for food, which never came!

  30. The Mad Prince in Pinstripes

    Well Done Peter. Well Done.

  31. Skippy

Now I’m glad I passed on going to this event.

  32. Blargh

    Requisite hummina-hummina

  33. JoeT 28 in 09!! MO FOR CY YOUNG!! FIRE CASHMAN!!

Jenn Sterger…. the only good thing about FSU – btw, she looked GREAT in those tiny “too small for a barbie doll” t-shirts lol

  34. Chris

Seriously some of you need to stop hating. The girl is gorgeous. Don’t be mad she has used it for herself to get some small fame.

    Some of you are unbelievable.

  35. Carl

Is she wearing just a bra? Not that i’m complaining

  36. Rob L.

    those are some nice cans!!!!

  37. DominicanYank

Is that ESPN on the TV screens in the background…? j/k

So Pete, did you approach her or did she approach you?

  38. YFan

whatever points she gets for having a pretty face, she loses with the fake boobs. too bad.

  39. Enrique Wilson

Obviously “J” is a Red Sux fan that trolls this site.

  40. mark

If Jenn had no boobs you’d think she looked like a guy. That’s no pretty face. Yeah her friend does look like a dude.

  41. saucY

“Is she wearing just a bra? Not that i’m complaining”

that would be great, but i think it’s a dress with a big belt…

  42. Rob Thompson

WOW! Jenn Sterger, the FSU Cowgirl. My opinion of you, Pete, which was already pretty high just went way, way up. She is a major hottie. I had no idea you rolled with that kind of crowd. Nice work, my friend.

  43. Rob

she was also in playboy and maxim

  44. Rob

  45. Mike

    Pete,

How hot was Jen in person??????

  46. Drew

Jen Sterger is one of the biggest idiots on the planet..I’m not sure which is full of more hot air, her head or……
