Had an overlong comment late on the last string re the trade deadline prospect discussion in reply to you. I like your comments here, thought you were getting on my nerves a bit in that string. I won’t bore all here with a rehash.

And I was very serious about you and SJ starting a Tampa blog – or something prospect oriented and even broader in scope. It’d be great.

Makes sense to sign some bats. They have drafted so many pitchers in the last couple years, they need to even things out or teach a bunch of pitchers how to hit.

You realize they’re 16 right? By the time they get ready to play in the majors, if they ever do, it would probably be 5 or 6 years from now. Jeter is 34. Do the math.
