Pirates will keep him, decline the club option, offer him arbitration which he'll decline and he'll become a FA, with the Pirates getting draft picks. Lefties have a .261 BA against Marte. Lefties batting .174 against Fuentes, .236 against Mahay, .208 against Edwar Ramirez. Mahay has 4M due 2009.Right now our bullpen is doing the job. The same people hate him for the free agent signings that occurred before he had total control are roasting him for not making similar moves right now to strengthen the team.
