oh, and i think i must have voted 40 times for Giambi and Burrell. i kept thinking that after my next vote, an error would come up saying that i've reached the limit.

i need to set up one of those bird toys to keep voting for me all day like when homer simpson was working from home.

didn't read all these comments, but just want to say Jon Miller is easily my favorite national broadcaster of baseball. He doesn't over do it like nearly every other play-by-play guy and he's probably the most neutral of any of them.

one of the very few reasons to like an ESPN game...

One thought on AROD divorce and that's it for me: Is it possible that AROD knows that the second child is not his? I mean he missed the birth and has seen very little of her. Just a thought...

"Giambi is just as bad as Bonds"

His trangressions are as bad, but Giambi the individual is not as bad as Bonds. Not sure I buy into the idea that Giambi owned up to much of anything... at least not entirely. Some vague statements and an apology for something. Probably safe to say that if he was not exposed (or his testimony wasn't exposed), he would not have outted himself. See also Petttitte, Andy. Even decent guys will flaunt the rules.

What kind of a sane person would want one of the biggest cheaters in baseball at the all star game instead of the young and exciting Evan Longoria?

Which would be better for baseball?

Giambi is just as bad as Bonds, and it blows my mind how the NY fans pretend like nothing happened.

Pete, it is good to see people in the media pulling for the Giambino. I have always been a fan of his and have always respected the way he took ownership for his actions. Not many guys out there have done that (ie. Bonds and Clemens). Jason seems to be a very well liked and respected guy in MLB. I have never heard a bad word about him (steroids aside). He has proven that he is still an offensive force and I would love to see him represented at the All-Star game..which I will be attending I might add!!!
