Sure the "'stache" is cute, and we all had a chuckle about the infamous thong, but compare Giambi to the rookie Longoria, who is an excellent fielder (see the recent game against the Red Sox at the Trop), is hitting well for a scrappy, young, fun-to-watch, first-place team, and has a bright future. How long ago was Giambi one of the contracts that Yankees fans couldn't wait for the organization to unload?
