I really hate non-Yankee baseball fans. They whine and moan about the Yankees until they go into their stadium and our fans around the country buy their tickets, thus providing their teams a subsidy they wouldn't have if Kansas City or Washington are in town. They talk about the Yankees payroll but it's hard to brag about "homegrown talent" when you're bragging about Manny and Curt Schilling. I also detest fans who say that Curt Schilling is great because "he speaks his mind." He's just another blowhard who likes the sound of his own voice. These fans need to go back to their middle of nowhere towns, shut up, and watch their teams go nowhere under ownership that only wants their $50 bill. The Steinbrenners want our $100 bill but they give it a shot for us every single year.

This was a rigged election designed to get people to vote while they already had their choice lined up to win.

So, why didn't they put a limit on the maximum number of votes for this one, as they did for the initial ASG vote?

Back, Back, Back, gone... Hamilton hit that one all the way to Brooklyn.

Back, Back, Back, gone... Utley just cranked that one to the Triboro Bridge.

Back, Back, Back, gone... Uggla just smashed that one on the Jersey Turnpike.

Tune in Monday night to here these Home Run calls and here what other great calls I have up my sleeve.

Giambi will likely still make the ASG as Ortiz's replacement, no?

This just makes me sad. And I also feel a little naive. It only just dawned on me that there might be people out there who didn't want Giambi in and wouldn't vote for him and that's okay. But to form organized pacts with other teams' fans to block it is a little scary.

Also, I'm glad we don't vote fore President of the US over the internet! As imperfect as the voting situation is, just think of how much worse it would be.

Pete -

Tell Jason we all gave it our all and did not give up.
