It’s really a non-story and more proof that the allstar break is too freakin’ long.

Yep.

Does anyone here really care that Arod spied on his wife or didn't? If you do you really need to get a life.

That still doesn't say he did only that a lawyer who knows nothing of the details of this case has a belief. That makes her paranoid, not him.

this is what the article says:

"Famed New York divorce lawyer Raoul Felder said Cynthia Rodriguez's lawyers wouldn't have made the stunning request without a real belief A-Rod spied on his wife."

"I’ll be at the AS Game - Papelbon and Youkilis are gonna get BOOED!"

Hard to imagine little Dust-mite dodging the boo birds along with these two.

"Just to be clear, I specifically avoided saying the Papelbon did not have the right to his opinion."

Yeah, you did. Bad wording by me. Apologies.

To be fair, crazy and obtuse as he seems to be, Papelbon never once said he was better than Mo. He is guilty of comparing himself favorably with Mo without the track record to support it, but that's a little different than saying he's better.

"Apparently he wired tapped Cynthia!”

No, the paper says Cynthia may/possibly/could have/ think she was wire tapped. Doesn't say Cynthia thinks it or says he did.

"Apparently he wired tapped Cynthia!

Sad, but not stunning. Arod leads the world in insecurity."

we all knew there was more to the story, and i wouldnt call ARod insecure or paranoid... just smart.

she hired a PI to follow him right? well, as it turns out, he did the same thing.

for a man whose imagine is as important to his ARod brand as his actual performance on the field, i dont blame him.

at least now if she threatens to release personal info, he can do the same, they cancel out, and we're all spared the nonsense in the media.

Doreen :

The likelihood of Papelbon having the longevity of Mo is nill at best. His pitching mechanics suggest a flameout by the time he's 32 unlike Mo who looks no different than he did 10 years ago.
