Same goes for Cy Young voting at the end of the year. CG, not so much. Lee also gets bonus points for the "pleasant surprise" factor... Halladay’s innings per start are at 7.5, which is remarkable by today’s standards. Still, Lee is the league leader in ERA and wins and is in the top 5 or 6 in K’s. As far as innings per start, he is at 6.95, which is second only to Halladay.

Hallday’s the league’s best pitcher, but Lee isn’t a bad call.
