It was something that started between the fans of Section 39 and the Yankee players. It's not about other teams, it's not about other players. No other player from any other team will ever be in the roll call. It's not tradition. It's not that classy things to do. It's just the way it is. Don't assume just because you see the roll call everyday and think 'it's cool' that you understand it. If you guys understand the roll call, this wouldn’t even be a discussion.
