All-Star celebrity sightings

Peter Abraham
July
15

Saw James Lipton of Inside The Actors Studio, which is one of the great shows on television. He is dressed all in black, which seems perfect for July 15.

071508_18001.jpgBut the real news involves Alyssa Milano, one-time girfriend of Carl Pavano and assorted other big leaguers. She is here promoting her line of MLB clothing for women. I wanted to ask her about her time with the American Idle but she was surrounded by celebrity-starved photographers.

I did manage to elbow the real photogs out of the way to snap a photo for you.

Willie Randolph is also here, apparently at the invitation of George Steinbrenner.

Willie should be there. He might end up back in pinstripes once he has some vacation time in.

Inside the actors studio is a bit played out…sure, they had DeNiro and Meryl Streep at the beginnning, but then they got a little short on good actors and had people like Dave Chappelle and Antonio Banderas?…A bit of a stretch…

Pete, you should ask Sir James what his impressions are of Yankee Stadium from his youth vs now? What an excellent question. In fact one of the best! Delightful!!!!!!!
