Longtime reader, first time poster...

Anyone catch what Yogi was saying when he was up in the booth? He was saying how he calls one of the relievers "Muscles" but couldn't remember his name - Buck then said, "Mariano?" and Yogi said yes, which obviously was a misunderstanding.

Who was Yogi talking about? Farnsworth, Veras?

You know, Rivera did not pitch that well either. He was lucky because of a good throw by Navarro, while Papelbon was the victim of a bad throw. Papelbon pitched MUCH better than Mo.

Paps stats: 1 IP 1 H 1 unearned run 2 Ks
Mo's stats: 1.2 IP 2 H 2 Ks and lucky he got a double play and a nice throw.

the all star game either needs to have a major roster expansion, not bring pitchers that pitch 2 days before, or not have the game count.

It was pathetic how Red Sox oriented this whole game was.

George cannot be happy how far we have fallen as a franchise in comparison to the Sox

Note to the President- don't invite baseball players to dinner, invite some Austrian school economists instead, you might learn something.
