Hey, look, it’s federal evidence

This is beautiful. Drug dealer/car washer Kirk Radomski now claims that when he looked under his television last weekend he found overnight mail slips from packages of HGH that he sent to Roger Clemens’ house.
This according to one of Brian McNamee’s lawyers. Of course.
I don’t know about you, but that’s where I keep all my receipts, right under the Sony. It’s like a paperweight, only much more effective.
The feds should send a team to Radomski’s house and see what’s under the refridgerator. There could be evidence clearing Shoeless Joe Jackson under it.
This whole mess is starting to resemble a Brady Bunch plot. In this episode, Greg (Roger Clemens) hides his report card under the television while Peter (Kirk Radomski) and Bobby (Brian McNamee) look for it. With Debbie Clemens as Marcia and Jeff Novitzky as Sam the butcher.

Peter Abraham

It’s gone from being mildly interesting to a total farce, and Clemens’ name is probably tarnished for a very very long time.
I prefer Marcia over Debbie Clemens, no artificial hormones for me.
Yea this is dumb. Clemens is a cheat and a lier.
I just finished reading “Steroid Nation.” Fascinating read which had an unintended effect on me. It really underscored the grey areas involved with PEDs and made me question my own stance on so-called “cheating.” I honestly can’t say I feel as strongly that supposed PED users are “cheaters” anymore after reading. That couldn’t possibly be what the author intended.
Yeah, yeah, they were under the tv, that’s it…..
Yawn. I don’t even read any of these Clemens stories anymore. I see the headlines, roll my eyes, and move along.
When things like this keep coming out it starts to really smell.
Who knows if Clemens did the stuff. He very well might have, but with the two characters who have this evidence that seems to keep coming out, then you question it. It stretches you credibility to believe that these were hiding under a TV and now that TV broke.
I don’t trust McNamee whatsoever. I have a hard time believing Clemens on anything he says. Radomski is not a stand up citizen.
The one thing I keep coming back to is this constant “new evidence” that seems to be found in the strangest places or circumstances. None of which would be able to be used in court.
Even Greg Brady cheated when he stole the other teams playbook. Of course he came clean later. OH MY NOSE!!!!
this whole things needs to go away
If you didn’t watch Baseball Tonight you have missed a tremendous segment on the Yanks and Yankee Stadium.
GREAT.
Johnny Bravo!
Something suddenly came up.

I am falling in love with Willie Mays.. anyone else watching this?
what?
costas now live online
I’m too busy planning out my friends’ first and only trips to Yankee Stadium to watch BT.
I’m afraid if I was watching that anyway I’d end up crying (again).
I’m too busy planning out my friends’ first and only trips to Yankee Stadium to watch BT.
What day are you going?
At least I can put a bet down and make some money off a Yankee loss.
I’d have to say that my favorite Brady BUnch episode would either be the one where they go to Hawaii with VIncent Price or the one where they have to build a house of cards and, if the girls win, they get a sewing machine and, if the boys win, they get a tv or a boat or something like that.
Okay, that contributed nothing to the blog. Off to watch tv.
Rush is on the Colbert Report tonight, they’re going to play “Tom Sawyer”.
Bob, they won the last time I went, so I wouldn’t be to quick. And I’ve decided not to specify the dates.
Rebecca,
Know what you mean
thank you so much for the b-bunch shout-out. dont forget about sam the butcher – he might find some syringes under his bone saw.
Holy bone saw….what does that mean?
Brian McNamee: “Well, all day long at the ballpark I hear how great Roger is at this or how wonderful Roger did that! Roger, Roger, Roger!”
I’m just loving the Brady Bunch picture. At least Alice found out before the show ended that she didn’t have a future career in swedish massage.

Checking some Rangers forum, the rumors are Elvis Andrus will soon be called up to the big club, moving Young to 3B and since he’s 31 they may want to deal him. If Daniels decides the Rangers are in contention he will not blink to deal Micheal Young who would be out of a spot in Texas. So this will be interesting to follow.
Brandon: Why did I think you were talking about the NY rangers at first?
Makes sense Brandon, b/c Blalock is moving to 1st.
Rebecca because we live in NY
Rebecca lives in Jersey, soon to be NYC.
Cashman should look into trading for Ryan Ludwick of the Cardinals. He’s a OFer who isn’t AFRAID of walls, in his early 30s, an all-star this year, and hits for power. the only downside is, strikes out a bit too much. 73 ks out of 298 abs in 87 games. I also read somewhere that the Cardinals are planning to trade him for a pitcher, either a 2b or SS.
Did you guys see the latest quote from Papelbum in regards to the new stadium being built?
“The Evil Empire gets even more evil,†said Boston’s Jonathan Papelbon. “They are just another team in another stadium.â€
“You can hate them, it’s harder to hate Yankee Stadium,†he said. “All that good that rests in that stadium is gone.
They won’t be the same team ever again.â€
There are more quotes from other players here:
http://ny.metro.us/metro/sports/article/Even_more_evil/12976.html
does Young want to move to the OF? hm…
Does Papelbon like being the most hated person in NY?
What happened to Chris Smith? He was supposed to slug like Papi/choke up like Bonds. He hit .700 in Compton.
The Rangers have Ramon Vazquez at 3rd now & he’s been playing fairly well, maybe he is on the block.
Rebecca, when Mo was elected to the 99 All-Stars, he held his mouth close about wanting to close in Boston. As for Papelbum, he just wants attention.
What happened to Chris Smith? He was supposed to slug like Papi/choke up like Bonds. He hit .700 in Compton.
It’s not even freshman semenar for him
, relax the kid plays every 3 or 4 days they don’t want to over play him, he’s getting use to a new brand of baseball.
Tank here’s a little perspective into this kids potential.
This was dated on Jul 10th-
Centennial High School graduate Chris Smith has earned a second-team berth on the MaxPreps.com All-American baseball team.
Currently playing in the New York Yankees farm system (he was a fifth-round choice in June), Smith has also been selected to the Baseball Coaches of America All-District 8 team and USA Today’s All-American second team. MaxPreps also put him on its all-state team.
He led the nation (according to MaxPreps.com) in slugging (1.361) and was second in batting average (.708). He hit 12 home runs, drove in 43 and stole 24 bases in 20 games.
He’s 18 years old, 18 and was drafted in the 5rd and is currently in the farmsystem. He would be an amazing story if it all pans out.
Hey Papelbon, John Rocker called, he wants his infamy back.
Trade for Ludwick? He’s a .263 career hitter who couldn’t stick in the majors until this year. What possibly makes you think he’s actually a good player and wasn’t just a mirage in the 1st half?
Speaking of federal evidence, Barry Bonds won’t cost us any prospects.
Gene, from what I heard last night, he’s been hurt due to freak accidents. His story is similar to Josh Hamilton (of course Josh’s is better), a great come back who made it to the All-Stars. As for his lack of playing time, blame it to Juan Encarnacion. Ludwick became a starter during the last month of the 2007 seaon because Encarnacion got injuried.
And Bud Selig as Alice.
Speaking of federal evidence, Barry Bonds won’t cost us any prospects.
And ?
I’m skeptical. Josh Hamilton was the #1 overall pick, he oozed talent, he was can’t miss. To me Ludwick looked like a fringe MLB player who had a great half. Maybe he’s put it together now but I can’t see him being worth giving up any decent prospects for this year.
Hey Papelbon, John Rocker called, he wants his infamy back.
You know, I’ forgotten this guy even, like, existed.
Brandon…so you think the Rangers would be willing to trade Young?
How does Chris Davis fit into all this? Lefty, who can flat out rake.
Seems maybe they have too many bats and as always need pitching?
Interesting.
“You know, I’ forgotten this guy even, like, existed.”
Well I’m sorry, I was pretty busy today! I’ll try to post more often. It is the all-star break, ya know.
Possible good news for fellow out of NYC Yankee fans like me who watch them on Extra Innings nad hate getting stuck with the other teams broadcast.
Just checked the scheduled games for tommorow on one of the channels and for the first time they have the choice of home and away broadcast feeds listed.
Finally!!!!!
How does Chris Davis fit into all this? Lefty, who can flat out rake.
Thier franchise 1B, and they will make Blalock a 3B/1B/DH until he is traded also is my guess. That team is stacked w/ hitting talent.

Whatever happend to that other guy, Botts I think was his name?
Heard alot about him a few years ago, but seems they never really gave him a chance.
Bob, Botts was DFA couple of months ago then he went on to play for Japan.
Nick: The ASB coincides perfectly with the release of The Dark Knight!
Whats up with Layne Bryant ads on this page? Fat chicks have a thing for this blog?

Jason Botts has been strugling I think he was DFA and no one picked him up, he’s turned into a Chris Shelton/Shane Spencer (just disappeared)
Hank Blalock is being regulated to DH, he’s going to net someone, although too bad it will be a huge risk for whoever gets him.
IDK why but Milton Bradley reminds me of David Justicebut he’s nuts, but he can swing and is a switch hitter and field but he’s nuts (I’d still get him)

Chris Shelton would had been a nice pick up, he would be way better than Betemit. However, Cashman had signed way too many 1b anyways.
Brandon, you know, I actually wouldn’t mind seeing Bradley on the Yankees.
It makes utterly no sense given his history and I shouldn’t want him on the Yankees at all…but I dunno, something…
Peter-
Marcia just broke our date
She says, “something suddenly came up.”
I still couldn’t believe Cashman chose Phelps over Hamilton during last season’s rule 5 draft. He could had letted Bobby walked, and Josh to be our RFer. Now that Matsui is possibly done for the season, we really need a bat like Hamilton’s.
Ed, Hamilton was a MAJOR gamble. The odds that he’d succeed were really slim.
It’s unny the way baseball works like that.
I still couldn’t believe Cashman chose Phelps over Hamilton during last season’s rule 5 draft.
He never got to us, the Cubs picked him for like 45 seconds, then he landed in Cincy.
Rebecca, I couldnt agree with you more. Remember how everyone praised Phelps last season during Spring Training? Look how that turned out.
He never got to us, the Cubs picked him for like 45 seconds, then he landed in Cincy.
I’m guessing it starts out with the team that was in last place.
If we were to trade for him now, it would be for a king’s ransome.
If we were to trade for him now, it would be for a king’s ransome.
Yup !
Milton Bradley executes the hit n’ run
Richie Sexson sac fly, RBI double and shortens up his swing
which one do you prefer, Brandon?
who*
Well Sexson is cheaper if he chooses us and could have some upside, I’d prefer Bradley but he again would have to be traded for and the price tag who knows .. but those two wouldn’t be bad.
Here another guy
Raul Ibanez RISP
Casey Blake’s versatility
Blake hitting w/ RISP
Trade: Ian Kennedy, Phil Hughes, Austin Jackson, Brett Gardner for Josh Hamilton, Ian Kinsler
DFox,
Yeah that trade makes a lot of sense. I’m sure Texas would trade their two young all stars to us for some prospects.
Especially when they traded Volquez for Hamilton, they going to say here you go Yanks, enjoy him.
If Peter kept all his Dunkin’ Donuts receipts under his television, he’d have no need for a TV stand.
the interesting thing about these Radmoski receipts is they may tend to back up Clemens’ version of the Debbie Clemens HGH story, and discredit McNamee’s version.
in the depositions for Representative Waxman’s committee, McNamee claimed that he did not provide the HGH, but that Roger did. but here you’ve got a receipt addressed to Clemens’ address, but sent in care of McNamee.
both sides agree that McNamee was living on Clemens’ property when the injections occurred. So, if the receipt correlates with when Mrs. Clemens was injected, it suggests that McNamee did provide the HGH.
