lost in all this: that the “retaliation” at millar was grade-A BS. danny cabrera has no control and didn’t mean to hit… who was it, jeter? pretty sure it was jeter. too lazy to scroll up, where it probably says. but he has terrible control. awful control. and his throw was unintentional, i’d stake my reputation on it. it was one of the most unprofessional things i’ve ever seen to come back with a “retaliation throw” at anyone, because it was so obviously not intentional.

Kyle Farnsworth was a gas can. Everytime he came out of the bullpen, the game went up in flames.

i was watching this game. edwar had no reaction whatsoever to this pitch, except that which would be consistent with a WP. even while the ump was ejecting him, edwar had no reaction at all: NONE.

now. reason dictates: either edwar totally blew the pitch, or he’s the most stone, cold pitcher i’ve seen on the mound since don drysdale.

edwars wp and hbp career averages are the exact same. so it’s really hard to concede this was intentional. no one was warming up to replace him, and we were ahead a zillion runs.

guess millar didn’t feel like smackin it to monument park on robertson, eh?

Edwar’s Myspace page has a message on it that says ” Why on earth did Girardi argue, he knew it was coming”

so edwar did go headhunting. I think its great, this is a game we havent played in 13 yrs. Torre would never let it happen. Now teams know we wont back done….

What we’re saying now is dont F with us or else our flamethrowing 95lb pitcher will F you up with his changeu errr ..Fastball..

Millar’s a joker, but he’s right about the head hunting. There’s a difference between pitching inside, and head hunting. Girardi is playing a dangerous game, and if he keeps it up the league might come down hard next time.
