Most people on this board don't realize how much a good catcher controls a game. Second I don't understand why Piliterre hasn't been promoted to AAA. He's an excellent catcher, witness the stats of Trenton pitchers and SWB has two waiver boys. Are they using him to develop Kontos and the Boys? Does anyone know? He is still in a brace and it will most likely take quite awhile for him to rehab his foot/ankle. Then he will need at least 3-4 weeks to strengthen his arm and do rehab starts.
