i had to scour a few websites but nowhere does it say we are officially eliminated from the postseason...

stop acting like drama queens and let's see how the rest of the season plays out...

Brandon, don't call Tex unclutch when posters have already compiled statistics that claim otherwise.

After this year, it would probably take more than Cano to get Kemp. But I'm down with that.

Real tough stretch right now fellow Bombers fans, not going to get any easier to take. Right now season hanging by small thread. Boston going back home having survived this road trip, Yankees phumfering to the finish line will prbably be lucky to get one in Minn

Melky was an embarrasement last night, just no representation at all of what a MLB AB should be.

I think Figgins Ground Ball just stopped bouncing in Anaheim
When Sidney Pnson is your ace, tough to take

Right now is as tough as its been in years, something needs to change now otherwise going to be a dead Sept

Skeptic,
Do you read what you are writing?

"GEEZ! get off girardi already. we have a whole team full of underachievers "

Is that not a measure of inadequacy? Is a manager who manages a team full of underacheivers not responsible for his team's performance on the field? if not, why have a manager at all? Why don't we just let Saint Derek run the team?
Where is the evidence that Joe has done a good job? Over the last few years I grew frustrated at the other Joe's lack of fire and bullpen management. But never has the team looked so lost and so disconnected with the uniform they were wearing...This is a disgrace of a team and reminds me of the Stump Merrill Yankees.

I agree with Skeptic, get off Girardi. He isn't the guy choking at .225 with RISP or throwing gopher balls. There is absolutely no life in this overpaid baseball "royalty". At least if we end up third or fourth in the division this year, it will mean cleaning of the house.

There should be a lot of $100.00 "cheap" seats next year.

"If you were the Yankee boss.Which guy do you want to trade or call off his contract in the end of this year?"

thats easy- astats. that is a bad contract which is gonna look even worse as it goes on (and we dont win anything)

too bad he split with boros, he could be in anaheim or st louis now and we could have used the money to shore up CF, SP and the bench before the season.

and it would have raised our ba with RISP.

GEEZ! get off girardi already. we have a whole team full of underachievers and you guys want to harp on one guy not playing. he wasnt gonna play all 3 games on that turf anyway!

like damon was gonna make any damn difference on a team that was rushing like hell to get out of there and hit the bar!

damon and giambi have been so effective of late that we've lost what 10 of 16 or something?

unless jeter, abreu and arod are gonna start producing in the clutch, this team aint going nowhere. piling blame on the mgr for sitting a late-30's OF who's crashed into too many walls is just scapegoating.

If you were the Yankee boss.Which guy do you want to trade or call off his contract in the end of this year?
It is a difficult question, but I wish Yankee rebulid to be a younger and stronger and have all heart desire to win team.

The Yankees are already down 2 key bats in Matsui and Posada. So what does the brilliant manager do? He decides to sit two MORE key bats in a crucial game down the stretch against a lefty who lefties hit .338 off of! BRILLIANT! So now we're down FOUR bats instead of 2. But despite that, they still have 4 or 5 supposedly "good" hitters in the lineup and still got shut out. Embarrassing.
