The Yankees’ starting rotation is a disaster right now.. they need to do something about it!

If it is indeed TBA, like Peter has it. Maybe it could be Hughes and the Yankees wont announce it till right before Wednesdays game, in hopes of Gardenhire getting caught off guard and forgets to tell his guys to take the pitches and work the count.

JDB, be sure to remember how much you hate the Metrodome when the Twins open their beautiful, brand new OUTDOOR stadium in 2010, and the Yanks are playing an April or October game there, and it's 24 degrees at game time and there's a brisk breeze blowing in from the Arctic Circle.
Ground balls that cross too many lines there will get called for icing.

That ballpark is an abomination. You gotta admire the Twins organization for doing so much with so little, losing Santana and Hunter and still competing, etc., but it's hard to like a team that plays in a baggie.

Yeah, ARD, I'd love to think positive like you....but...
We also took 2 of 3 from the Angels last week.
The MLB season is the most interesting of all major sports. Usually, the best team on paper will finish at or near the top. But because of the length of the season, a Team's fortunes are strongly influenced by injuries, hot/cold streaks and matchups.
The Yankees' starting rotation is a disaster right now - and it is now affecting the bullpen. The level of talent in MLB is such that any Team who gets hot can beat its rival that day, regardless of how better it is "on paper". Conversely, when a Team is cold - like the NY Yankees right now - they can lose to Teams that supposedly are inferior to them.
If the Yanks don't catch fire, look for the Twins to take 2 of 3.
