Pavano represents yet another Cashman mistake along with
Randy Johnson, Vasquez, Kevin Brown, Benitez, Farnsworth etc! I thought Pavano retired after Cashman the Moron
gave him the big contract! My mistake!LOL!

Pavano is being showcased for a trade or a dump – the ynakees won’t keep him. If he appears serviceable he goes in a package over the winter.

Irony – Pavano was the fits to jump from the Championship – Beat the yankees in 6 – famous JT – i think I’ll use Weaver here series — and the yankees get the Short end of the stick — the Red Sox get Beckett – who leads them to 2 WS

Rays – get Burnett who kills Yankees

Yankees get Big Useless from the 2001 D’Backs Mariano error on the bunt (never mind the flare) beat the Yanks series –

he underperfromas against the Little Sisters of the Poor — Red Socks get the Bloody Sock Shilling from the same team –
go on to break the curse

And exactly why do we love the fornt office here??

Oh back to the point — good business testing Pavano – maybe there is a Buck $ to be extracted — but better to write him off – and give the kids in the minors a taste of the Bigs and some experience

Send Pavano to the mound. Pavano deserves all the criticism he is getting, but times are hard right now. It would be great if the Yankees got back in it, as unlikely as that is the cannot just start bringing up kids. That would send a bad message to the veterans they have on the team who are still fighting.

Baseball doesn’t have the strongest union in the business for nothing, if this were football Pavano would have been cut a long time ago and stealing money from the Cowboy instead.

this picking on Pavano is truly lame. the guy had multiple surgeries. it’s been unfortunate, kind of like what happened to Don Gullett’s Yankee career in the 1970s. but it’s not like Pavano did anything to merit all the tabloid abuse.

Good for him that he’s back, it would be a fairly quick recovery for TJ surgery. Go Pavano.

Imagine he pitches well down the stretch and we make it. In that case it takes a little sting out of the contract.
