Yanks should not go after he opts out.

I flipped over to the Sux game and Burnett looked terrible. Couldn't throw strike for his life and his breaking ball was especially all over the place. I couldn't believe that this was the same guy from just the other night.

Heres hoping thats the Burnett we see this weekend. I know there are supporters of him here on this blog, but beware he has a tough time staying healthy, and if you ask me he really steps his game up against us because he knows the exposure his games get against us and knows NY always pays premium cash for pitching. Please do not sign this guy

DFox, I said "very well". He's played six straight games (including 3 of turf), so far and will most likely play in the three Boston games. I'm guessing that he'll get at least one of those games off against Toronto.

Brandon, did you read my response to you about Montero?

If NYY wants to help their cause any in beating Halliday and Burnette, the best thing they could do is play Gardner and between him, Jeter and Damon, bunt on them and run wild on the bases. Matsui doesn't hit either one very well.

I love this blog - Pete's great. The only improvements would be if he didn't love the Pats, and hate Girardi.
