All time leader in AL GIDP- Cal Ripkin with 350-of course he played in every game. NL leader Hank Aaron with 305. AL single season leader-Jim Rice-36 with Boston 1984, and Rice led the league 1982 thru 1985.

Jeter’s GIDP 20 could mean that he shouldn’t be batting 2nd and A-Rods 11 GIDP in month of August-a record for a month??

Last year Torre had about 8 games that he blew because of his managing. This year Girardi has 12. Those 4 games different would be quite a bit right now, no?

Derek Jeter is a legend…he’s going to have the most hits in Yankee Stadium’s history..

All i’m saying is that in 2008 he needs to be held accountable just as Arod for this teams struggles!
Jeter has 20 GIDP this year.

I’m not saying that he needs to be boo’ed out of the stadium like Arod is…but he needs take some blame as the captain of this team…instead of saying the same thing in post-games everyday, after every lose “We have to start winning games”…thats a bunch of crap!

Arod has taken the shots in the clubhouse all season and i think it’s time for Jeter to do the same!

Pathetic if you want Pavano back. Hope he’s claimed so we either get monetary relief or a player in return. Last nights game, he had 3-4 long flyball outs that might have gone out in other parks. Plus you want to pick up his 13M option, or negotiate a new 2-3 year contract?? Not me!!

Who bothers watching the post game. Girardi will tip his hat, and still show that he is clueless as a manager.

The Yankee will only have a winning season when he is gone.

There are 12 games that his poor management have blown. 12 games. Even with taking half that many as wins, it puts the Yankees in contention. But no, he believes in his guys. What a turd.

Yeah, Rasner blew the game by loading the bases and then handing the steaming pile of poo to Bruney, but who left him in there?

Girardi is a moron who deserved to fired from his last job and deserves to be fired from this one. Once the Yankees wake up to the fact that he can’t manage a game the Yankees will get back to winning.

A-Rod is going nowhere. He’ll make millions for the Steinbrenners in packing fans into the new stadium at outlandish prices, so they can boo him!!!

Honestly the only way I see A-Rod off the team is a 3 time drug suspension, or if he comes begging to management that he’ll do anything to get out of NY.
