Brian Cashman has turned this team into a disgrace over the last 7 years after the Gene Michael/Bob watson teams faded away. Why those idiot Steinbrenner boys want to keep him is beyond me. Girardi has completely surprised me by being overmatched this year and this team quit on him, and it would make sense to bring in a veteran manager who knows his way around running a team. This team needs a complete overhaul, starting with players who want to play, like a Shane Victorino, and Joey Votto/or Ryan Howard via trade, and Orlando Hudson (Cano and Melky must go)
and Sabathia through free agency. Tex is not worth the money and years he'll want. Cashman always ignored his bench, which has to be upgraded, also by trade or short-term contracts, or even quality players cut for money or numbers reason after spring traing. Betemit just stinks, as do all the stiffs Cashman keeps bring up, like Jason Christain and Gardner, who can't hit or bunt. This team ca be over hauled in one year if a real baseball man in the front office and on the bench are brought in as quickly as possible afer the World Series and before the winter meetings. Cashman has brought in a bunch of mismatched, old, lazy players combined with incompetent young players and pitchers, the kiss of death which either can be rectified rather quickly with the money coming off the books, or the alternative will be the 1980's all over again.
The Yankees have become irrelevant on Cashman's watch.

Gutless, overpriced, underachievers not worthy of wearing pinstripes. As I've been saying, BLOW this team up. Losing 2 out of 3 to the worst team in baseball is unacceptable. Lifeless like their clueless manager. Cano needs to be traded while they can still get something for him. He's a Lazy Dog and needs to go.

Jennifer,

It wasn't nearly as much as Girardi has tipped his cap. He's become a broken record after a loss.
