As the Yankees try and get out of fourth place, their top two farm teams are in the championship series of their respective leagues. If you’re interested in following along, or even taking in a game, here is the information:

TRIPLE-A: Scranton vs. Durham (best of five)

Game 1: Tuesday, at Scranton

Game 2: Wednesday at Scranton

Game 3: Thursday at Durham

Game 4: Friday at Durham (if needed)

Game 6: Friday at Durham (if needed)

Scranton ticket into: Call (570) 969-2255 or go to the SWB Yankees web site.

Notes: No word yet on the starters for Scranton. David Price is going Game 1 for Durham. I have it good authority that if Scranton wins the title, Shelley Duncan will tear the bull off the wall at Durham Athletic Park and bring it back to Scranton.

DOUBLE-A: Trenton vs. Akron (best of five)

Game 1: Tuesday at Akron

Game 2: Wednesday at Akron

Game 3: Friday at Trenton

Game 4: Saturday at Trenton (if needed)

Game 5: Sunday at Trenton (if needed)

Trenton ticket info: Call (609) 394-3300 or visit the Trenton web site.

Notes: The Thunder are looking to repeat as Eastern League champions. No word yet on the pitching matchups.
