Vince – beautiful shots! If you are referring to the X pic I’m not an X gusher. But I’m pretty sure you hit it right with Laura.

After listening to Moose’s postgame interview I get the feeling that Moose would like to come back. He listed off a number of considerations regarding next season, and one thing he mentioned was whether or not the Yankees want him back.

102 and he can still touch his toes!! At 102, I’d be happy to see my toes and know what they are. The cake and singing Happy Birthday to him was a nice touch.

It takes such small gestures sometimes to make people so happy. I’m always happy to read stories of the Yankees players getting that.

I’ve been working on my stance with K. Long and last night we decided to try it….Stance is more closed and I can see the pitch better….I should have done it sooner and it’s how I’ll hit next year….I can stay back and see the pitches better….I’ve got to play hard and stay in the game and be prepared….It’s great to see Moose come back this year and be so good and Bobby is having a great year this year too.

Just read about the oldest pro player @ the Times blog. They gave him a cake on the field and he had like 4 generations with him. Said he doesn’t watch baseball but the Yankees are his favorite team. Lucky thing because he’d probably be throwing things at the tv, huh? Also said it felt like he was in heaven.
