All I know, is that they better do it right. Even the Yankee hater-lists have to put it on hold on Sunday. It should be about the Stadium, nobody else. Nothing else.

  2. manny(yanks fan)

Win or lose the game..its goan be a sad one for many people.

  3. MikeEff

agreed mel–the less seen of steve phillips the better.

    Is this true?

“The Yankees’ come-from-behind victory on Friday night marked their 46th of the season, the most in the Majors this year.”

  5. Bronx Jeers

I was at last night’s game. Pavano’s first 2 innings excluded, it was a great game. Now I’m actually hoping they lose the last two games so I can say I can say I was at the last win. Is that wrong?

  6. MikeEff

yes jeers, it’s horribly wrong and unbelievably selfish–i’m shocked you’d even admit such a thing.

in fact, why would you admit such a thing?

  7. DubP Los Angeles

I’ll be filling up my DVR with all those games on ESPN Classic!

  8. Laura

This is great news…except that they will probably harp about how disappointing this season was. Also, I’m sure that Gammons will throw in some BOS comparisons.

  9. yanksince57-is this 1959 or is it 1965?

LOL! of course, that many come from behind wins just shows how putrid the starters were!

Anyone going to the game today?

I’ll be there bright and early.

  11. Dee

Miggs I’m heading to the game shortly. Probably getting there by 10:45 to see BP and Monument Park one last time. I will have misty eyes all day…

ESPN’s telecast will be called by Jon Miller and Hall of Famer Joe Morgan with reporter Peter Gammons. This has to be the worst trio in broadcasting…………
