No problems for Rivera in surgery

Just spoke to Brian Cashman. Here is what he said about Mariano’s surgery:
“I spoke to Dr. (David) Altchek and there were no surprises. Everything was as they thought it would be. He can start throwing again in three months, which is not atypical for him anyway. So that was good news.”
Jorge Posada came by the Stadium today because he wanted to do over and take a look at the new Stadium. He is not going to start throwing until December but told Cashman that his shoulder is coming along fine.
No word yet on 40-man roster moves or changes to the coaching staff. “All things we need to talk about,” he said.

Pete – Comments on Heyman’s interview with Francessa and Kim?
Pete,
Thanks for the update. Have you talked to or heard anything about Wang?
Redding: Didn’t listen, sorry
Someday I want to read an article about how a players’ surgery went really poorly and his career is now over. Turns out the surgeon sneezed in the middle of trimming the frayed area around the joint and ended up severing three tendons….
Surgery always go well with no surprises and no disappointments… at least that’s what they tell us.
Sorry, Jorge. No do overs.
