Trisha, great idea. Would we be able to pillage? It's part of the great Viking way.

Tom - hysterical!

I've got an idea. If we change Viking Day to August (Saucy thinks it's a better month) I could host Viking Day for the forum. We could tour Newport and then go to the Sux game on August 23rd! So I think we would have to always have Viking Day be the 3rd Monday in August!

Joe Buck is disgustingly uninterested in baseball. I dont understand why anyone hires him or why he does it. He makes the game sound so uninteresting.

Normally I don't complain about the Fox crew. But in a matter of one at bat, Joe Buck managed to cut off Ken Rosenthal and is that really McCarver kissing Manny's butt after reaming him.

trisha, Viking Day is the ideal RI holiday. They even have their own Norse Tower:

I'm with the gang that believes the Phils would be a much more formidible opponent.

Mel, it always kills me to see a kid out there struggling and nobody taking the time to go out. How about the pitching coach if not the manager? I think all they would need to do is say something to calm the kid down. How about "slow down, make this game go at your own tempo" ANYTHING of support.

Oh well.
