If they lock up alot of their players now they can still trade them later on for top young players and still be better off then a team like the yankees. Don't see any way the Yankees can acquire him if the package does not include two of their top pitching prospects and then some. Tyler--- I had also thought about Andruw Jones who is rehabbing his knee. 2009 is a career saving season for Jones and he just might be motivated to get into shape now that his knees are healthy. He gets $ 18 million next year and the Dodgers would trade him for a bowl of fruit loops and include some cash... maybe a ton of cash.
