If you remember back to the All-Star Game at the Stadium on July 15, Scott Kazmir was the winning pitcher, pitching an unexpected inning when the game went 15.

The loser was Brad Lidge.

Now Kazmir will start for the Rays tonight, who have home field advantage in the World Series because, in part, of what he and Lidge did. I’m no a fan of the All-Star Game “counting,” but it certainly counted this season for those players.
