I’d say that you have to give a lot of credit for the way that Jeter acts to those people sitting in the 5th row. (his parents for those who have not read the SI piece)

Haha, SI tried so hard to get Jeter to admit to a Minka Kelly relationship. Why doesnt he just own up to it? What else would he be doing in Texas? Visiting Pettitte? maybe. Visiting Roger? I dont think so.

I do wonder if Jeter got the kabbalah reference…

Jeter is his own person and figured it out on his own, al athletes have PR people whether its the teams PR people or their own its its up to the individual athlete to not say stupid things and be controversial… And being in that athletic bubble its amazing that he still manages to act this well in this market…

Nobody taught Jeter he just smartly figured it out on his own.

BBB, maybe instead of banning junk food in the clubhouse Girardi should ban vapid, cliche and soulless nu-metal. I think that a steady diet of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest would keep the guys energized and ready to play just as well as M&Ms and Mountain Dew!

You’re right. Jeter is a pro on camera. It might just be all the endorsements he does – he does get a lot of direction and he has a lot of experience looking into the camera.
