On Nov. 18, Kay Murcer will be at City Hall in Manhattan for the launch of the Bobby Murcer ScanMobile, a mobile MRI unit that is a project of the Brain Tumor Foundation

Bobby had a role in the project prior to his passing.

Also, a scholarship fund has been established for Cody Miley. The 17-year-old son of Scranton manager Dave Miley was killed in a car accident in August. The Cody Miley Memorial Art Scholarship Fund will be awarded each year to a deserving and needy student from Chamberlain High School in Tampa.

Tax-deductible donations by check can be made out to the Cody Miley Memorial Art Scholarship Fund and mailed to the attention of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, 550 N. Reo St., Suite 301, Tampa, FL 33609-1037.
