I don’t have a problem as a diehard Yankee fan for A-Rod to date whomever he likes no matter the age..What I do have a problem with is: These May to December romances to distract him from our team getting to a World Series THIS NEXT YEAR,and making it all about him.

The fact that Madge has been around more times than a drum on a clothes dryer, only A-Rod has to deal with that…I just thought his taste in women might move up the class scale a little,however, think again

Some of you should be careful, your sexism is showing. If this was a 50 year old guy with a 33 year woman people would be saying how cool and how much of a stud he is. Even the comments about her looks; she’s 50 there is no need for her to look 25. What is wrong with looking one’s age? She’s an older woman so she needs to be put out to pasture or something? This relationship (and its age difference) does not need for anyone to get it, understand it, like it, believe it, approve of it, or agree with it.

One last thought before I sign off.

Every generation has someone who died too young. First, there was James Dean. Then Bruce Lee, River Phoenix, Brandon Lee, and this generation’s loss was Heath Ledger. It’s great how these actors and others before them are forever memorialized in film.

Never mind me, just feeling a little melancholy.

The movie and music professions are filled with “Names” like that…Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Rick Nelson, Keith Moon, Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Janis Joplin and Jim Henrix, Marilyn Monroe, Montgomery Clift, Natalie Wood….all had everything going for them except old age.
