Fix that bookmark (and some other stuff)

Yo, peoples, change your bookmarks. The URL for the indispensable blog by Chad Jennings has changed. The new link is http://community.thetimes-tribune.com/blogs/yankees/.

Chad is keeping up with Triple-A Scranton. Mike Ashmore also is maintaining Thunder Thoughts during the cold winter months.

Both of those guys have provided a lot of information.

————

Heard a little rumor the other day. The indy league Newark Bears, who recently hired Tim Raines as their manager, are considering Ron Guidry as their pitching coach. The Gator took last year off after not getting his deal renewed by the Yankees.

————-

The Red Sox signed Billy Traber to a minor-league deal today. Lefties never, ever run out of chances.

————-

Maury Brown’s Business of Baseball Blog has an interesting note today. Seems that the Yankees have the highest out-of-market brand recognition. Sad news indeed for the Nation.

————

Meanwhile, thanks to everybody for reading last month. Despite the relative lack of activity in baseball, we had 1.1 million page views on this blog. Stay tuned this month. We’re going to have at least two live video chats, dozens of Winter Meetings updates and other coverage. Thanks also to the sponsors who are signing up.

    Abreu is overrated.

    This was a depressing day.

Let’s get back to distractions, like ARod dating his mother, I mean Madonna.

  3. JoeT 28 in 10.... KEEP PHIL FRANCHISE!! BRING BACK BOBBY!!

Maybe Traber can take over for Timlin as the guy who blows every game lol

I need to learn how to throw lefty, that’s the minimum requirement for making the bigs isn’t it? lol

Phil – HAHA … What is with that!?! I’m sure A-Rod can do a little bit better, maybe he should put this Jeter nonsense behind him and take a few tips

  5. RhapsodyInBlue

Packer apparel second only to the Yankees, surprising.

  6. Jim in CT

You’re finally replacing the stripper bar ads?
About time. Makes this blog NSFW.
