I'm with Trisha. No to Lowe. Andy for one year a much better choice. Either CC+Andy or Burnett+Andy would do fine and likely suffice as youngsters develop this year.

CB,

I agree on Gaudin, the only reason he stink this season because his role wasn't permanent, whether it was in the rotation or bullpen.

And oh yeah - George Santayana would probably also caution that the roadsides are littered with programs with the names of players who were pretty good elsewhere and fell apart under the pressure of the Bronx. Why in the name of all that is sane anyone would advocate for a KNOWN headcase who cracks under pressure is beyond me. Time to wake up and smell the coffee kids! This isn't desperation time quite yet, where you take almost anything out there because your rotation has already fallen apart! This is the time where you make strong choices about the people who will make up your rotation.

Because someone does okay in the NL is a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny piece of the puzzle, hey?

"Olney says the Yankees would ask for Chad Billingsley or Clayton Kershaw from the Dodgers for Robinson Cano. After the Dodgers turn down that request, the Yanks will ask for Matt Kemp. If the Yankees do move Cano, they could then pursue Orlando Hudson"

My error...Capuano had transplant surgery in 2008. However it was indeed his second transplant.
