Can’t say about George, any more than those above can, but in my experience oldsters who can’t remember this morning’s breakfast can often remember events and people from their youth with perfect clarity. I’m glad if George remembers Gordon and can feel happy about his election to the HOF.

Just release a general statement (“The Yankees are proud, etc.”) Attributing quotes to George is a little silly at this point.
