The latest from Cashman

Until the deal is signed, dealed and done, Brian Cashman is not going to comment on it.

But he pretty much stepped as close to that line as he ever has before, admitting that a lot of progress was made and he feels good. That’s Cash-speak for done deal.

More to come.

    Is it live from Vegas?

So what Cashman is saying is that there’s a process, and the process is progressing. The Yankees are pleased with the process, he hopes Sabathia is pleased with the process, and the process will play itself out.

Do a package deal with Boras for the 2 ex-Saux for 2 years each with vesting provisions for a third, and call it a day.
