Just saying “the 2008 pitching was better than 2007″, and “it was really the offense that took a big drop off”…misses the fact that offense was down throughout baseball probably due to a reduction in PED’s. But make no mistake…the Yanks starting pitching was not up to par. Way too many starts by Rasner, Ponson & the like. You put CC, a healthy Wang, a year of Joba & either Lowe, Sheets or Burnett…and we would have won 105 games last year.

timm we know about theopt out, it really means nothing, if he earns a raise he’s worth it. If he hates NY he walks.

I did. The stop watching ESPN advice was for CC not you. CC could get the phone number of any of the guys who have played/play for the Yankees to get the real scoop but that was one of the big concerns he raised to Cash? Not buying it.
