  1. Ed - CC and Wang, the Dynamite Duo!

is it me, or does Hal Stein looks like Christopher Reeves?

  2. Lynn

In other uniform news Bruney is switching to #38 and letting Swisher take #33. There was a :deal” made for it.

  3. Doris from Rego Park

hopefully he is a better rider

The Yankees have the best rotation in the AL, but we have the hottest group of wifes ever a assembled!

  6. Ed - CC and Wang, the Dynamite Duo!

    Lynn,

    how you know?

  7. Paco Dooley

Excellent, now let’s take care of center field. How about Baldelli? He’s apparently healthier than we thought (see the story on the Yahoo MLB website).

  8. manny(yanksfan)GET MANNY AND HIS DREAD LOCKS

Hal just needs the Aviator glasses and we the BOSS 2.0

  9. X-Mann

Felix the Gardener looks like Gov. David Patterson

  10. CB

The yankees will not only the most power arms of any staff in baseball but also probably the tallest.

CC is 6′7. Wang 6′3. AJ 6′4. Joba pulls up the rear at 6′2. Pettite is 6′5 and Hughes is also 6′5 so that 4th slot is secured as well.

For all that cash – neither of them could shave?

  12. Drive 4-5

Um, Hal doesnt exactly look comfortable in that pic. Relax, Hal. We’re all happy that it’s you and not Hank at the helm.

  13. E . R .

    Rich people are happy.

  14. Tom

CC just seems like a dude who just loves life.

  15. 4 x 4

Time to get rid of that mindless facial hair rule.

CC and AJ look fine… they should be allowed to have mild facial hair.

  16. vtred

Reggie Jackson and Damon are the off-season MVPs

Ohh! You mean like the clean shaven Hollywood group?

  18. ASH

    AJ and CC,

    Keep your wives close.

  19. Brandon (SHOW SHEETS THE MONEEEEEY !, CC & AJ are Yankees!)..."Don't trade Robi !"

Watching CC & AJ makes you want to do a keg stand.

  20. Michael Kei (Igawa)

Guess what those women are going to be doing tonight…
    playing Scrabble, duh.

  21. Joe I

Hal says the Yankees aren’t done…

Yankees controlling partner Hal Steinbrenner said the team is still considering adding other free agents.

“We’re still active, we’re still looking, we’re still evaluating,” Steinbrenner said, without being specific. “There’s money out on the table, so to speak.”

CC looks brokenhearted to be so far from Vallejo.
    Idiot bozo morons!

  23. Lynn

    Ed——-
I heard it from a mutual friend of mine and Bruney’s in Tuscaloosa. I haven’t talked directly to him yet but I do know that Swisher evidently wanted 33 pretty bad

  24. vtred

They just played a clip on Kay’s show with CC talking about the opt out

(paraphrasing) “I’m committed here. I’m buying a house here and enrolling my kids in school here. That was apart of my contract anywhere I went, people are reading too much into it.”

  25. CB

    Nick,

CC actually looks brokenhearted to not be Mo’s set up man.

  26. KennyH123

You think those guys are tall? Wait till some of our best prospects come up… Andrew Brackman is pushing 7 feet, and Dellin Betances is right behind him at 6′9″ or so.

  27. Patrick

Man its weird but CC is definitely not a fat dude. He is just big. I wouldn’t say he’s cut but he’s definitely not sloppy, he looks to be in great shape. I think part of the reason we all think he’s fat is because he wears his uniform really baggy.

  28. Nick in SF in Napa

CB: they don’t give the most important job to unproven newcomers. Let him prove he can start first, *then* see if he can handle the big time.

  29. Tint

    AJ’s wife is smokin

How about the Yankees making a last minute bid and getting Teixeira?

  31. john

Christmas came early. CC and AJ look great in Pinstrips

  32. Charlie via SD

Ha, I was thinking “Hmm, I wonder if the rules of shaving are going away?” Giambi used to get away with quite the scruff last year, maybe the new-look Yankees will have facial hair.

PS – Let’s give Gardner a chance!!! He may not hit a kajillion homers (or any) but every single/walk is a double and doubles are triples!

  33. feefooo

    DAMN AJ’S WIFE IS HOT!!!!!!!!!!

  34. Zack Attack

AJ is a cocky guy…but I like it

  35. Lauren

    (sorry guys)

Whew! Who would’ve thought AJ would look so hot in pinstripes!?!?! Welcome aboard honey!! :) :)

    *~*~*~*

Could Hal look any more uncomfortable in that last pic?

  36. bunster

You would think the wives would dress a bit better for the occasion considering this is a press conference introducing their husbands as Yankees and they’re wearing suits.
