Trade:

Nady, Kennedy, Melky and Robertson

for Rowand and Sanchez.

SF has been looking to unload Rowand’s contract and with the addition of RJ, Sanchez is expendable. In Nady they gain a good ML corner outfielder, Melky replaces Rowand in CF, Kennedy is a good wildcard prospect and Robertson strengthens their bench. Plus they gain payroll flexibility by moving Rowand’s contract.

NY gets the good (defense and offense) CF we need plus a young #5 pitcher with good upside.

Win-Win.

pete the pats had a pretty easy schedule as well, i give bill b all the credit in the world. i also. is a tough toss up between peyon and brady.I also agree pats windown isn’t close anytime soon. as for the jets rooting for miami, why not they weren’t going to make it. as the old saying goes, misery loves company. i be more p*ssed with the jet player who decided to tank it.

In what universe is Tom Brady the best player in the league? If the Patriots did one thing this season it was popping that bubble. When a scrub goes out and throws 400+ yards a game some what regularly its time to admit he’s the product of the team and the system. They still had great production from the passing game, its hard to see how Brady would have helped there. Maybe with the one loss early on to Miami, but they got beat down, both sides of the ball. 11-5 is clearly still a good record and I like Mayo, but the Pats are losers.

Don’t pretend that Jets fans are different than any other (except maybe for our pain tolerance), how many people would want the Yankees to lose a series to the Rays to make sure the Sawx missed the playoffs. It would at least ease the sting.

Hey Pete,

I’m a Jets fan and I’m definitely not more miserable because we lost today. The game meant nothing once the Ravens won. We lost and took the Patriots with us, what’s so bad about that? In addition, Pennington is a great guy, I’m very happy that he won the division.

Let’s not forget, Belichick has never won a Super Bowl without Mangini!

I’m a Jets fan and the Jets losing today didn’t make me more miserable. The game meant nothing to us once the Ravens won. We lost and took the Patriots with us, what’s so bad about that?

Oh and GIANTS > BILLS any day of the week. Three straight 7-9 seasons? Ouch. Glad I wasn’t born into that misery of a franchise.

Jets Fan / Yankee Fan

Those of us who go back to the “rebel” Joe Namath days, & how he and the Jets forced the old NFL to recognize that the AFL was an absolute legit league, became Jets fans forever. Tough “few years” since then, but still fans.

Can’t be a worse QB than all-time choker Richard Todd.

Chad Pennington … class act when he was here, wish him the absolute best going forward !!!
