In Tampa, the best luck I've had with getting decent seats is from StubHub. Ticketmaster sells out fast. I've heard that if you go to the stadium, you can have better luck; but I've never had that confirmed by anybody reliable.

As for autographs in Tampa, I've had luck on the practice field. Not much inside the stadium.

We're actually not seeing the Yanks at home this year. Sad. I'll be on the Yankees dugout in Dunedin on 3/30 though. I can't wait.

I think its interesting to hear that authographs are hard to get down there... Its actually easier in tampa than at yankee stadium, which is near impossible. I have been going for years and I have gotten auto's that range from jeter, arod, damon, posada, nettles, yogi, etc. but maybe thats because im a girl? hollar if your going though. i always love seeing fellow yankee fans!

"By the by, anyone here have thoughts on Baldelli? If he will be healthy enough to play…why not some incentive contract?"

I have some expertise in this disease. It won't be cured. He will only be effective if he plays intermittently. It seems hard to justify a roster spot for that, but I suppose it could work if handled properly. I don't think anyone knows the exact amount per time that he can play, so an incentive-laden contract might work to find out. From what I know, though, I don't think I would do it.

I went to spring training a couple of years ago. I went three years in a row but that was the first time I went only for the purpose of spring training. I went to Legends Field,Port St Lucie for the Mets. I saw the Yankees play Tampa in their stadium, Detroit in Joker Marchant Stadium and I saw the Astros in Kissimee, it was so much fun, nothing like sitting in the sun and not caring who wins or loses just enjoying the games. It is pretty hard to get autographs at Legends Field and a lot more protected then the other stadiums.
